What’s the deal with all the sniping of other candidates. I am not loyal to any yet because we are 5+ months away from the PRIMARY SEASON. Personally I welcome any and all to hop in if they want and let the competition of positions proceed. Palin can jump in at her leisure if she wants and that’s fine. I believe she has until mid-October to qualify for Iowa and NH and if that’s her strategy (or what not) so be it. Perry has an impressive lead at this point but no doubt a Palin entry would significantly shake things up.

Some of it is good vetting of candidates, but most of it is nothing more than a sophomoric cyber version of a food fight ("Oh yeah? Well your candidate's an uber-RINO, so TAKE THIS! [splat]). Best thing to do at this point is stay out of the cafeteria, let the kids get it out of their system, and watch from a window. The best candidates will emerge closer to the primary season.
