John 10: 17-18 — “The reason my Father loves me is that I lay down my life — only to take it up again. No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down and authority to take it up again. This command I received from my Father.”
1 John 3:16 — This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters.
See, what you don’t seem to realize is that He is God, and you aren’t.
That’s the difference.
He holds the title to your life, not you.
