This morning Politico ran a story titled "Is Rick Perry dumb" by columnist Jonathan Martin. In the second paragraph, after ridiculing his accent in the opening paragraph, the writer asks: "Is he dumb -- or just "misunderestimated?" Martin goes on to question Perry's "intellect." Rush Limbaugh responds on his Monday program: "This is a recycle, same thing they tried against Ronaldus Maximus back in 1979/1980. 'Is Ronald Reagan dumb?' "It's amazing. Nothing new. Media cycles, media templates being repeated, being recycled."

bump.
I wonder just who is the real dummy? See AMERICAN THINKER today for an analysis of one of the few examples from Obama’s pen that his campaign failed to get under lock and key.
He wrote a letter to the Harvard Crimson defending affirmative action policies. Grammar is terrible. Syntax sucks. He twice fails to made verbs and subjects agree.
Like it was written by a seventh grader...at a time The One was already a member of Harvard Law Review.
It is little wonder that his thugs are hiding his academic records. Still seeking answers about his Connecticut social security number issued in ‘77 while Obami was living in Hawaii. Still many questions about his LFBC. No passports records either.
And our vaunted media are still chasing down rumors about Perry and Bachmann. They have zero interest in checking out Obama.
The guy’s a fake. His background is a lie. He’s affirmative action all the way.
BS, one is all hat and no cattle. And that one wasn’t Reagan.
They can ask the “Is Rick Perry dumb?” question all they want. Maybe he is. Maybe he isn’t. Obama, on the other hand, has a history of stupidity and failure that is not open to question.
I will be happy to vote for a man who might be dumb over a man who definitely is.
Rush said when liberals are out of power or about to lose power, the become crazy in their speeches and interviews. Liberals should be scared of him, he will defeat their Messiah.
A truly great and inspiring read. I am astounded by the parallels between this upcoming campaign and the Presidential race of 1980.
But what experience would he have to compare anyone with Ronald Reagan
Perry to be on radio with Hannity at the top of the next hour...just announced on air.

Man, you’re on every Perry thread started and just keep being negative. Did he bang your ex-wife or somethin’? Man,you got a hard on for him. Who would you vote for President?
Ignorance will buy you a lot of support, are you trying to get a free education for your illegal boy friend.
True, since he was an air head boat racer when his adopted father was the man.
I’m all over it. Posting on all Perry threads.
I’ll repeat the same question Shaka asks, without the fanfare:
Who do you support for the Republican nomination?
These Rat’ trash have demonized every Republican who has run for president in my lifetime and they have tried to label most of them as stupid. Let’s look at some of THEM: Lyndon Johnson was a little clever, I guess, in a criminal, party-hack kind of way. Walter Mondale and Michael Dukakis? Well, not too bright. Al Gore? A total dumb ass. John Kerry? 40-watt bulb there. Barack Obama? Totally an affirmative action construct of George Soros and socialist dipshi-. Except for verbal ability, no one can be intelligent and be a Leninist socialist. The synapses simply do not fire right.
“Limbaugh: Attack on Perry Same Thing Media Tried with Reagan”
and Palin
and Bachmann
and Cain
and Gingrich
and Pawlenty
and Santorum
and even Romney at times
and McCain (once he was the nominee and no longer ‘the maverick’)
and [insert GOP candidate here]
and anyone they perceive to be a threat to Obama.
It’s funny how the second they think there’s a new frontrunner they attack them, trying to make it look legit when it’s nothing but rabid partisan hacks.
And they wonder why we think they’re biased.
“He twice fails to made verbs and subjects agree.”
Hey! If kings don’t have to agree with their subjects, then why should verbs have to?;)
