"About one-fifth of the households do not take annual vacations.

In most of the households, however, fundamental needs like food and clothing are covered, as well as annual birthday parties."

Wow! I'm fascinated by this article. I love the statement which suggests that an "annual birthday party" is a fundamental need like food and clothing. Mind boggling!

As for annual vacations, I take a one-week or a two-week vacation -- if I can afford it -- approximately every 3 or 4 years. SO WHAT!?

Socialism tends to Socialize the populace into an infantile, animal-like state so see government-subsidize b-day parties isn’t surprising at all.
