That being said, there's got to be a stop to this bailout mania. People who choose to build or buy near the coast need to assume responsibility for their choice. As for the rest, nature will balance itself out.
Ticks me off. So these folks get oceanfront views on my dime. Do I get a free stay? It should work like a timeshare - for every dollar the taxpayer pays in as a percentage, that's how much time they should be able to use the property. And I said "TaxPAYER", not the free-for-all nincompoops.
