Wanted to take a moment in this thread (since it is active) to take a gander the work of Constitutional Law Professor Gilmore of the University of Virginia. Am sure the Op will not mind... The professor seems to say..Vattel is in the Constitution regarding citizenship..but am not sure. Here it is...
