Who gave the following answers in an interview:

Q:  Do you think they all should be deported?

A:  There is no way that in the US we would roundup every illegal immigrant -there are about 12 million of the illegal immigrants- not only economically is that just an impossibility but that's not a humane way anyway to deal with the issue that we face with illegal immigration.

Q:  To clarify, so you support a path to citizenship for undocumented immigrants?

A:  I do because I understand why people would want to be in America. To seek the safety and prosperity, the opportunities, the health that is here. It is so important that yes, people follow the rules so that people can be treated equally and fairly in this country.

Does it change your answer if I say that I quite agree with those views and the immigration policies they imply?

Sarah Palin, who was wrong when she said that. I hope McCain's influence over her has not damaged her permanently.

This leads to 10s of millions of new leftist voters, and leftist control of all 3 branches of government forever. Is that what you want? Is that what Perry wants? It's what Obama and his gang want.

LOL! You are doing a hell of a job convincing conservatives to get on the Perry bandwagon.

"We have Nicaragua, soon we will have El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Costa Rica and Mexico. One day, tomorrow or 15 years from now, we're going to take 5 to 10 million Mexicans and they're going to have one thing in mind -- cross the border, go into Dallas, go into Houston, go into New Mexico, go into San Diego, and each one has embedded in his mind the idea of killing 10 Americans."

And the score as of 2011 is...

Ownership Society:         A few negative trillion deeper in debt thanks to fraudulent sub-prime a$$paper.
Communist Revolution:  +1

Is Rick Perry going to Reform this Republic and demand laws against fraud be enforced  (better than immigration law?) -- and that the fraudsters be punished to the full extent of the Law?

Or we just gonna get another 12 years of...

"Oops, Wall Street got Drunk"

"See, Habla Espanola - sign here and BOHICA."

... from the Texass politically established teat suckling RINOcRATcy -- along with another administration whose SEC can't find their own arse with both hands and a SQL script telling them exactly where to find it?

Yes, I know, Palin 2008. I was familiar with that interview before you joined FR.

The problem is you are suggesting that Perry agrees with that position ("a path to citizenship") and that will not be too popular here. You seem to be for amnesty, and many will assume, since you are a major Perry fan, that in fact he does agree with you.

I am going to do you a favor. In 2006 he wrote that he did NOT support it. LINK: Along with millions of Americans, I think it is wrong to reward those who broke our laws with citizenship ahead of those who have followed the law and are waiting to enter this country legally. And like millions of Americans I do not support amnesty.

After reading that, do you still like Perry?

I don't even like the idea of guest worker programs for illegals, especially with painful unemployment here, but if Perry is sincere about no citizenship for illegals, he is better than Obama and Romney.
