I see no need to hide a weapon in this type situation. Eliminate any problems with b*llsh*t ruling and open carry it. Simply wear it so everyone can see you have a gun and are armed and protect yourself. Eliminate the problem before anything happens since most or all criminals will not try to rob or harm and armed person. Carry your gun so it is visible. While i agree the government has no right to void the CCW permits, they also have no right to require one either!

If you own a beach house and are driving down to check on it and throw a shot gun in the trunk? You could be arrested if you’re stopped by the wrong cop.

That way instead of demanding your wallet, they come up behind you, bash your head in with a bat, and then take your wallet and your gun too.
Forewarned is forearmed. Why would you want to forewarn a criminal?
