Lake Wales, Florida - Polk County Sheriff's deputies have arrested the suspect known as the "clumsy beer thief."
Investigators say back in April at the E-Z Food Store in Lake Wales, a man tried to steal two 18 packs of Bud Light Beer from the store and as he was getting away, he fell, dropped the beer and lost his pants.
The whole incident was caught on store surveillance video.
Then on August 16, a patrol deputy spotted a black Chevrolet Malibu in the Lake Wales area, and recognized that it was the same make and model vehicle as the suspect getaway vehicle in the beer robbery.
When the vehicle's owner was interviewed by deputies, she revealed she loaned her car to Angel Miguel Ortiz and Juan Luis Gutierrez so they could "go and get some beer." When they returned without the beer, Ortiz told her that Gutierrez fell down and "lost" the beer.
Both men were arrested and charged with petit theft. Investigators say Gutierrez was the man seen falling down in the video, while Ortiz was in the car during the attempted theft.
They were obviously looking for some “cerveza free-a”/s;)
Those two are too stupid to remain at large.

Drive through Lake Wales late afternoon / early evening and you’ll understand the types the article is about.
Lake Wales was something back in the days when people boarded trains to visit Florida.
Now it’s a welfare dump.
