The underground tunnels have definitely been shown on television, and the rebels are well aware of them. There was talk about one probably going to the airport. I was watching Al Jazeera English at another house, and the rebels are definited trying to pacify Sirte and Sebha (sp?), two cities with strong Gaddafi ties. I also saw somewhere, and may have already posted a link, that a Gaddafi supporting tribe in Tunisia has been bombarding nearby cities that the rebels have claimed.
Meanwhile here is other new information: I think this article is about prisoners released in Tripoli, but fears for the fate of 50,000 that are unaccounted for yet. (I had to run out for the day before transfering this link from where I had cached it and my memory used to be better.)

And here is a story about Libyans demonstrating in Zimbabwe, another country whose people have every reason to want to throw out its dictator.

Thanks gleeaikin. The only way atrocities are ever detected is after one despotate is overthrown in favor of another. The discoveries are always one regime behind.
My guess is, the Libyan jihadist takeover will spread into Tunisia and Algeria.
Wonder where the maps or sketches are for the tunnel system?
Another day, another conflict, as the world turns toward explosion after explosion or implosion? Everyday something new, or old bubbles to the surface demanding attention by an ever dwindling area capability of coverage due to the stresses and fatigue. Have you checked the doomsday clock lately? If it has not moved, I would be surprised.
