7. Palin tossed out the corruption-ridden, structurally-flawed Petroleum Profits Tax of the Murkowski administration and put forth ACES (Alaskas Clear and Equitable Share), which incentivized development while seeing to it that Alaskans resource owners as per the Alaska Constitution would receive A CLEAR and EQUITABLE SHARE (ACES) of the value of their commonly-owned oil and gas. The result? Alaska was left with a $12 billion surplus. Also, as reported at Big Government, The number of oil companies filing with the Alaska Department of Revenue has doubled, indicating that competition has indeed increased. Alaska has the second most business friendly tax set-up up two spots since the passage of ACES. Additionally, a report from Governor Parnells Department of Revenue indicated that 2009 yielded a record high in oil jobs.

In case you thought the writer is a guy, you would be wrong. Who ever thought Jedediah is a cool girls name is nuts. She is hot though.

She’s the ONLY potential candidate who actually reduced the size of government and returned power to local authorities and the people.
Other candidates only maintained the status quo. We can’t afford that after zero.

I like that sign, which is aimed squarely at the GOP-E:
No Palin, No Peace! That says it all!

10. Palins commitment to free-market competition and transparency is well-evidenced by her establishment of the Alaska Health Care Strategies Planning Council (HCSPC) and her introduction of the Alaska Health Care Transparency Act. The American Spectator points out that although it didnt make it through the legislature, The Alaska Health Care Transparency Act confirmed that Sarah Palin means it when she says shes in politics to challenge the status quo and to serve the common good. Moreover, her push for greater competition also demonstrates that she understands the potential of the free market to cure much of what ails American health care. The above in bold is the major difference between Sarah Palin and all of the other candidates. PALIN IS TEA PARTY! Learn it! Love it! Live it!

Other candidates only maintained the status quo. What burns me is that following her resignation in July 2009, Sarah Palin was the ONLY one who stood up and started fighting the Obama Administration with everything she had, while the rest of the GOP cowarded in fear of the Rats and their minions.
Remember her lonely stands against "Death Panels" and Quantative Easing, in which she was ridiculed and called a liar, with no one backing her up? And after Tucson when the MSM and the Rats teamed up to label her a murderer, and no one in the GOP (except Rush and Mark Levin) came to her defense, even those she had just helped get elected?
Now all the Johnny-Come-Lately's are echoing her past statements and following the path she blazed in 2009 and 2010, and are trying to shove her aside.
Screw them! And the GOP too!

You’re absolutely right...that’s another key differentiating factor - she fought from day 1!!
When she first said ‘death panels’ half the talking heads supposedly on our side fell over themselves asking her to tone it down, butt out, or ‘leave the room’ as Kruthammer said.
Now EVERYBODY admits, there are death panels! Even libs are reluctantly acknowledging it, and pundits - including Kruthammer, are using her very words - ‘death panels’ - to describe the rationing of care.
They FAILED to defend her when the media went Goebbels on her, they dissed her when she fought for what is right, they appropriated her terms and rhetoric, and NOW, they claim she’s too ‘radioactive’.
They are bunch of spineless kabuki theater players worth less than a bucket of day old spit!
We need a fighter and a natural leader - Sarah Palin.

Jedediah Bila offers a comprehensive, factual account of some of Sarah Palin's notable achievements as governor of Alaska. As a Palin supporter I'm well aware of Palin's positive actions while Governor but it's too bad we rarely see, hear or read any of this when Sarah Palin is mentioned as a possible Republican candidate for president. No, all we get from the naysayers is
"half term governor!" or,
'quitter!' as if those slogans automatically negate anything she accomplished in her 30 months in the office. As Bila's article states, Sarah Palin is a consistent conservative. No Romney style flip flops or equivocations. Palin is the real deal. The very fact that the liberal media and the Republican 'establishment' have been attacking Palin, often on specious grounds, is a good indicator of her chances to be elected president. The left rarely attack Ron Paul and the GOP elites sure don't criticize or Jon Huntsman, Jr.
The left naturally loathes Palin, a proud wife and mother who didn't abort her Down's Syndrome child but cherishes him, instead. A woman who is a staunch conservative with solid values and a deep love for America. Sarah Palin is about as far from the 'stupid' label the left has desperately tried to pin on her since the '08 campaign. Her continued popularity is impressive - and deeply frustrating to the leftists that despise her and all the positive things she stands for. The 'anybody but Palin' naysayers on FR will carp about anything Palin says or does. Well, that is certainly their prerogative and I believe it is of no consequence. I've seen posts complaining about Sarah Palins voice quality, speech mannerisms, hairstyle, clothing, etc but none of these seem to amount to much more than nitpicking over trivialities and are pretty much par for the course on a political forum. Sarah Palin will always be a subject of intense discussion but when it's all said and done, I believe she'll also be the next president of the United States.

Yes, they are, and in some cases, using her exact wods...two candidates in particular...and it irks me no end. Backstabbing politicians who call themselves, at least publicly, her friends, both of whom she helped remain in office, and at least one who definitely would have lost. Karma. I’m waiting for it.
