So while the business-as-usual boys and girls play their games, I thought we could do something productive and revisit ten aspects of Sarah Palins gubernatorial record worth highlighting. Whether she makes a run for the presidency or not and I personally believe that she will lets take a look at some things the media and the D.C./Manhattan elite havent quite gotten around to mentioning.
1.. As governor in 2007, Palin was responsible for the largest veto totals in state history, while investing $1 billion in forward-funding education and fulfilling public safety and infrastructure necessities.
2. Palin invested $5 billion in state savings during a time of economic surplus.
3. Palin reduced spending by 9.5% from 2007 to 2010 and slashed earmark requests by over 80% during her time as governor.
4. Under Palin, Alaskas total liabilities were reduced by 34.6% overall.
5. As governor, Palin wabs the CEO of the state and had substantial authority. As reported by The Wall Street Journal, In Alaska, the Governor has line-item veto power over the budget and can only be overridden by a three-quarters majority of the Legislature.
6. Palins free-market approach to AGIA (Alaska Gasline Inducement Act) featured full transparency with respect to competitors and no back-door meetings. It also unlocked the ConocoPhillips, BP and ExxonMobil monopoly and marked an enormous step toward energy independence.

She’s the ONLY potential candidate who actually reduced the size of government and returned power to local authorities and the people.
Other candidates only maintained the status quo. We can’t afford that after zero.
That says it all!
The above in bold is the major difference between Sarah Palin and all of the other candidates. PALIN IS TEA PARTY! Learn it! Love it! Live it!
What burns me is that following her resignation in July 2009, Sarah Palin was the ONLY one who stood up and started fighting the Obama Administration with everything she had, while the rest of the GOP cowarded in fear of the Rats and their minions.
Remember her lonely stands against "Death Panels" and Quantative Easing, in which she was ridiculed and called a liar, with no one backing her up? And after Tucson when the MSM and the Rats teamed up to label her a murderer, and no one in the GOP (except Rush and Mark Levin) came to her defense, even those she had just helped get elected?
Now all the Johnny-Come-Lately's are echoing her past statements and following the path she blazed in 2009 and 2010, and are trying to shove her aside.
Screw them! And the GOP too!
You’re absolutely right...that’s another key differentiating factor - she fought from day 1!!
When she first said ‘death panels’ half the talking heads supposedly on our side fell over themselves asking her to tone it down, butt out, or ‘leave the room’ as Kruthammer said.
Now EVERYBODY admits, there are death panels! Even libs are reluctantly acknowledging it, and pundits - including Kruthammer, are using her very words - ‘death panels’ - to describe the rationing of care.
They FAILED to defend her when the media went Goebbels on her, they dissed her when she fought for what is right, they appropriated her terms and rhetoric, and NOW, they claim she’s too ‘radioactive’.
They are bunch of spineless kabuki theater players worth less than a bucket of day old spit!
We need a fighter and a natural leader - Sarah Palin.
Yep...Palin was Tea Party before the Tea Party was Tea Party!
She didn’t wait until then. She started fighting obama during the presidential campaign.and she was the ONLY one who did. mccain sure didn’t.
I stand corrected! Thanks!
The left naturally loathes Palin, a proud wife and mother who didn't abort her Down's Syndrome child but cherishes him, instead. A woman who is a staunch conservative with solid values and a deep love for America. Sarah Palin is about as far from the 'stupid' label the left has desperately tried to pin on her since the '08 campaign. Her continued popularity is impressive - and deeply frustrating to the leftists that despise her and all the positive things she stands for. The 'anybody but Palin' naysayers on FR will carp about anything Palin says or does. Well, that is certainly their prerogative and I believe it is of no consequence. I've seen posts complaining about Sarah Palins voice quality, speech mannerisms, hairstyle, clothing, etc but none of these seem to amount to much more than nitpicking over trivialities and are pretty much par for the course on a political forum. Sarah Palin will always be a subject of intense discussion but when it's all said and done, I believe she'll also be the next president of the United States.

Excellent post and worth repeating.
Well said, Jim! Well said!
Putting this article up on facebook.

Yes, they are, and in some cases, using her exact wods...two candidates in particular...and it irks me no end. Backstabbing politicians who call themselves, at least publicly, her friends, both of whom she helped remain in office, and at least one who definitely would have lost. Karma. I’m waiting for it.
