I and many others are not happy with Mayor Bloombergs many anti-freedom and pro-social debasement policies. But as an executive in a time of crisis he is at the rank of a Giuliani. Hes very good, energetic, mature, and on top of things.
The opposite of Obama, of Nagin, of Dinkins.
As soon as he evacuated the nursing home residents yesterday morning, I thought the same thing.
Gov. Christie seems to be handling the pre-storm preparation activities in NJ pretty well too.
Now, you know, it was not Zero who wanted to leave early, and certainly not because he wanted to show any concern for the people who might endure the effects of the hurricane. Nor did he want to go back to DC to take assume any leadership responsibilities.
He was probably told (forced)to leave by the AF because they didn't want to risk flying AF One from the East Coast any later than tomorrow. I bet the concern was more for the plane and crew. Who the heck cares if Zero is stuck in the throws of Irene? Let him stay out on the golf course while the hurricane passes over his head!
I just wonder if Mooshelle, her daughters, her Mom, and her twenty some attendants will come back early. Or if she will even fly on the same plane as her husband. I doubt she will forego the expense of having her own special flight. After all, the queen likes to travel separately since the taxpayers are footing the bill.
