& would it be worth just taking it down yourself?
The only problem we’ve ever had with satellite during a hurricane was one exposed cable got a kink due to winds. The other satellite cable was fine. While we would routinely lose satellite reception during a regular old t-storm, never lost reception during a tropical storm. Hope this helps.
I’m in NJ and debating whether to take down just the dish part and leave the pole and mount. I have the much wider slimline 3 which has a bigger surface area for the high winds to hit.
I’ll check the hurricane track in the morning and see how much we might be hit here.
