Some of the nonsense on this thread is really getting to me, especially the crapola coming from people no where in any of the affected regions. I know what is going on outside my front door and don’t need some yahoo no where need the area telling me I don’t know what I’m talking about.

I totally, totally agree. Geez, at the very least these people could simply offer prayers for FReepers and their families in the affected areas.

I remember following some of these hurricane threads and also a live thread about horrible tornadoes in Oklahoma a few years ago. At the very least, I offered my prayers...

And I wasn’t even really talking about the posters’ comments, as bad as that has been, but what folks were saying that was being said with network coverage.
