Bloomberg hamming it up for the cameras now. One thing is certain..the truth will rise to the surface by tomorrow. I am praying that it has been mostly ‘hyped’ for the sake of the people in the way of this storm.

Can someone knowledgeable about these things tell us why the bulk of the weather is on the left of the storm now? I thought most hurricanes carried the most intense stuff on the right of the center? The rain and intense stuff seemed to change sides once it hit land hours ago. Just curious.
I’m staying with friends who don’t have cable so have only seen local news and have missed most of the hype but from what I gather reading this thread- the cables are really over the top for Irene. Are they going nuts?
