This is exactly how government tyranny develops.

Once upon a time you had a “right” to drive a car on public roads. The car was your private property. The roads were public property funded via governments using public tax dollars taken from your private money.

Traveling in your private property over roads you funded was a “right”. This is a fact.

Then the government started to spew the lie that driving is nothing more than a privelege, because you are driving on public roadways and the public’s interest supercedes your “right”. Kids were brainwashed to believe this, and now most adults I talk with have no clue that driving is a right, and they truly believe it is nothing more than a privelege, since we sigh that right away in the licensing process.

You can’t sign a right awayi. You still have a right to drive your car on the highway — absent your losing that right by committing a crime like driving drunk — but since only a tiny sliver of adults recognize that driving is still a right, those of us who do are considered crazy and wrong.

Now they are expanding this to aircraft. The right to fly is going to become a privelege.

And soon, the right to speak, the right to worship, the right to keep arms, and the right to assemble, and the right to be secure in your person from unreasonable searches and seizures.

Like Reagan said, “Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn’t pass it on to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same...”

Well, it isn’t being handed on. The communists who control teh schools and the media and Hollywood, the communists who have done all they can to destroy the church, and the community, and the precious nuclear family right down to promoting homosexual marriage — they’ve done their job too well to insure that freedom is not handed down to your children, and children’s children.

This ends badly. I just pray it is delayed so I don’t have to see it. I would pray that it is reversed and freedom is completely restored, but I know better. Freedom began to diminish in this nation right from the Whiskey Rebellion and possibly earlier. Freedom takes a one way path to tyranny. It is just a question of how fast it succumbs.

Right now, we are racing toward it. I do pray that the wishy-washy middle class moderates wake up and slow the rate of bondage we are experiencing. I pray for that. For reversal, I dont’ even bother as it is pointless.

Someone with enough entrepreneurial spuck could set up a company to help other companies monitor the corporate jet activity of their competitors. Investment firms might also monitor corporate travel plans for patterns and destinations which might indicated mergers or market expansion. This privacy violating policy change will have many unintended consequences.

Actually, there is now judicial precedent from the DC court of appeals, a pretty influential one, that allows police to attach a GPS unit to your vehicle without a warrant. So technically, they came before us before Hood brought them after the planes.

I’m betting they rule with the police again.
