So what is the “legitimate” reason that my house is picutred on google earth and others. And why can I not stop it?
I don’t post articles very often and there are so many things you can’t post I thought I would just post an important quote. Man do you have to be such a posting snob? You did this wrong and that wrong, wah wah wah!!! Go read the darn article!
Thanks.
Thanks
I flew a lot in the 70s and 80s, virtually all VFR. Never filed a flight plan except for when flying into Canada. In Canada you had to file a plan and they tracked you. Very paternalistic and unnecessary. Obama has encouraged LaHood’s inner Nazi to come out.
Bottom line, I don’t believe that Obama wants any kind of unregulated or untracked travel.
RUDE!!! Who peed in your Cheerios?
Isn’t Ray LaHood from Illinois - America’s North Korea?
How about the guy that’s going to break into your home?
By both your free will and choice.
Lay off LaHood, he’s got a wide stance and he’s simply stepping onto the wing.
Spot on. Lame duck Obama is putting the pedal all the way down as he approaches the cliff-side. Sadly, there are 300 million passengers on the bus.
* Maybe a Clipped Wing Cub or T-Craft
* A starter, but no Alternatorr
* No Alternator so no Transponder.
No lights so no night flying.
VFR Daytime, Uncontrolled, and a hand-held...
enough of their insanity...
Break into the home? No kidding, I didn’t think of that. They want to strip your house, just wait till your on the plane and the government tells them your safely out of the way.
If it transmits, the government has the data. We listen to EVERYTHING.
>No flight plan will be filed, nor will I have a need to communicate with ATC. Flight plans are obsolete and of limited value, especially when a SPOT cost $150...gas for a C-130 is more.<
I was waiting for Freeper pilots to chime in. I learn stuff everyday on FR. If what you posted is true, is it possible to NOT talk to ATC even if fly from WA state to BC, canada?
Most interesting. Lots of gen av aircraft from “light sport” to antiques haven’t much - if any sort - of electrical system to support nav/com/transponders. Even their “crash beacon” is self-powered ! >PS
Very, very interesting. And unsurprising all at once.
All pilots have to file flight plans. What previously was available was the ability to block the flight plan from being released to the public. Obummer’s administration is now removing that option.
under the guise of cap and trade
