In other words, they’re jealous, but they don’t want to admit they’re that shallow.

That comes off pretty clear among women in other forums I have participated in. It is a perspective that some conservatives hold regardless of gender. I think it is just as demeaning to chalk up their opposition to her to jealousy as it is to chalk up conservative opposition to Obama to racism.
