To: libstripper

I use to have a .38 S&W airweight. I bought the internal hammer model and that was a mistake re: accuracy. I like the .357 models with the shrouded hammer (weight around 12 oz IIRC), but they are right around a thousand bucks new.

WOW! In 1995 mine cost about $350.00. What I really like about mine is that there’s a litle catch in the trigger just before it cooks off, a lot like the way a compound bow’s string becomes easier to hold when it reaches full draw. That catch gives it accuracy close to, but not quite at the level of, a fully cocked single action revolver.
