From here on out, when sending US troops into harms way, give them Blue Helmets cause the ROEs we are utilizing now are as lame as UN peacekeeping troops using Blue Helmets and carry weapons with no ammo or the sheer inability to use said ammo.... =.=

One minute Ron Paul makes sense, and the next he is crazy as a loon.

He needs to step aside in his vainglorious run for President and get out of the way of real candidates.

Outside of a very narrowly defined area (read Fed), Paul is a joke. And a bad one at that.

How about the Constitutional argument, namely that the President is the CINC, and he has the constitutional authority to establish the ROEs not the Congress.

Don't like the ROEs get a new President. I don't, and this option is fine with me.

I know folks can't understand this, but Paul votes against lots of things because he believes them to be unconstitutional acts. It is astonishing that anyone in the Congress would take that stance, but there you are.

There is no defense for stabbing our troops in the back, the way the Paulistinians would look at it is irrelevent. Screw ‘em.

Paul is not just a joke, he is a disgrace, even to the lowly Republican Party. Even RINOs don’t sell out their own troops.

He is an embarrassment and about as conservative as most members on DU.

In your view, does Obama also have the 'constitutional right' to push the homosexual agenda on our military, which Ron Paul also supported?

Only one or maybe two will come out and defend the village idiot Ron Paul...most of the Paulistas are deceptive little weasels who come out and attack other conservative candidates.

...and many won’t even admit their affiliation because they know his record is full of holes and impossible to defend.

But you know them by their fruits....obsession with the Fed, isolationist, totally anti Israel and anti Jew....they think America is at fault for the worlds problems.

It doesn't but that is not the point. All powers to wage war rest solely with the Executive Branch, i.e. The President. Congress controls the money not the war. Passage of this bill would have been at best pointless. In the worst case it would have weakened Presidential powers and given Congress the ability to make military policy...you want Harry Reid deciding ROE?

Obesession with the Fed, pro Israel, have no problems with Jews, and a belief that we spend far too much money and expend too many lives trying to go around the world "nation-building, makes me what?

That sums them up pretty well. A rotten bunch.
