She’s just in total conscious denial. She’ll never stop drinking and at this point it is way too late I think.
If she is to the point of Scleral Jaundice and Ascites...I tend to agree with you......Ascites is bad news,....and esophageal varicies are next (in many cases) and nothing worse than having an esophageal variceal bleed, and be conscious while you are bleeding to death......Forgive my brutal honesty, but I have seen it many MANY times in ICU...and it aint pretty!!!!!
