On Obama's orders, White House chef to prepare pork chops

President Obama is no doubt enjoying lots of delicious sea food in Martha's Vineyard -- lobster, scallops, that sort of thing. But when he's back in Washington, he'll be chowing down a favorite new meal prepared by the White House chef: gourmet-style Iowa pork chops! Specifically: "cinnamon brined grilled Iowa pork chops." (Snip) He loved the meaty chops so much that his staff requested the recipe from the hotel's chief, so that the chops could be added to the official West Wing menu.

Won’t help him with me. I’m smack in the middle of Iowa. I have family members raising hogs, my father is a butcher, I have been a butcher, and - gasp - I don’t eat pork. Also, it sounds as if Martha’s Vineyard has really sissified those Iowa chops.

I had a Iranian co-worker who liked eating Filipino pork adobo brought by our Filipino staffs.  We asked hey Ahmed isn't eating pork against your religion?  He'll that religion no other muslim here.

The same with two Jewish brothers, one very conservative Jew the other likes pork chop.
