Pols may move on but they usually don’t quit mid term because it got too tough to continue in the job.
Comparing Perry’s near 30 year record of public service against Palin’s short record isn’t really a good idea. Perry’s been on the job for over 10 years as governor of the second largest state and the world’s 15th largest economy. Over 4.1 million moved to Texas between 2000 and 2010. Alaska’s population is 710,000 people.
He’s been fighting what 0bama has been doing to his state instead of cutting and running.
Go ahead, support the pro-amnesty crony capitalist. I’ll take the reformer from Alaska who has driven the national debate the last 2 1/2 years.
It’s a big tent here at FR, there’s room for both of us, but I see no reason for me not to counter the slander that Palin stepped down as governor “because it got too tough”.
