Democratic members of the Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) are ramping up anti-Tea Party sentiment this week, with one congresswoman calling the movement "the real enemy" in Florida on Monday night.
"Let us all remember who the real enemy is. The real enemy is the Tea Party," Rep. Frederica Wilson (D-Fla.) said at a Miami town hall, according to a report by the Miami Herald. "The Tea Party holds the Congress hostage. They have one goal in mind, and that's to make President Obama a one-term president."
Wilson's comments follow incendiary remarks about the Tea Party from another member of the CBC on Saturday.
This is a tough game. You can't be intimidated. You can't be frightened. And as far as I'm concerned the Tea Party can go straight to hell, Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) said at a town-hall-style meeting in California.
Waters, who also attended the town hall in Miami, doubled down on her previous remarks, although she refused to repeat the "hell" line because the meeting took place in a church.
"We're not afraid of the Tea Party," Waters said. "In this struggle, we have to define who we are, what the president is doing and not let our voices be overshadowed by the Tea Party."
The Rev. Jesse Jackson, also participating in the town hall, compared the modern Tea Party movement to opposition to the civil-rights movement. "The Tea Party is a new name on an old game," he said. "Dr. King fought a 'tea party' in Alabama."
Looks like she’s flipping the bird with her left hand.
I wonder if a black flash mob began beating that woman holding that sign to death, if she would wish she had a gun to defend her life. Or that someone around her had a gun to repel them.
DC News Flash - The Tea Party is We The People.
She was almost hysterical. “The Teeeeeeeea Party!”
Sounds like a terroristic threat to me. Is DHS on the case or are they too busy sexually molesting toddlers?
No, no, no,
The greater enemy is Obama, who just sold out American interests at Americas expense to global ISLAM in his consolidation of Libya for the upcoming MB government... His consolidation of the Mid East will be at America’s expense, financially today and militarily tomorrow. He did it for islam, not America.

He is hateful Ghetto rubbish.
I am sure there are Teaparty foke that voted for Obama in 2008, so time for the meaningless race baiting to stop..These TPers are at least doing something about their mistake...and that is making sure that the liberal’s central government planning agenda is reversed...
Anything that makes Dems meltdown and go nuts has got to be good, and somebody has to pick up on that where W left off. So hurray for the TEA Party. Long may it hold Congress hostage.
While working towards that goal, it would be a major milestone if the POTUS should only serve one term, because his agenda is inimical to that goal. One term Obama = good sign.
Keep talking you loons....I welcome it.
Can we question your patriotism now?
The tea party wants all Americans to live free. God our creator created us equal and endowed us with our individual inalienable rights. Freedom is calling for all who yearn to be free. Break the chains that bind you to the government plantation and enjoy your righteous God-given freedom!
Obama says the constitution is a flawed document that does not go far enough in saying what the government must do for the people. But I remember another young democrat president saying, “Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country.”
Martin Luther King Jr. did not ask for some people to be free and others condemned to government plantations. He asked for ALL of God’s children to be free:
“When we let freedom ring, when we let it ring from every village and every hamlet, from every state and every city, we will be able to speed up that day when all of God’s children, black men and white men, Jews and Gentiles, Protestants and Catholics, will be able to join hands and sing in the words of the old Negro spiritual, “Free at last! free at last! thank God Almighty, we are free at last!”
The Congressional Black Caucus should learn to curb their hatred and focus instead on creating an environment that encourages freedom for all:
“Like an unchecked cancer, hate corrodes the personality and eats away its vital unity. Hate destroys a man’s sense of values and his objectivity. It causes him to describe the beautiful as ugly and the ugly as beautiful, and to confuse the true with the false and the false with the true.” Martin Luther King Jr.
“Dr. King fought a ‘tea party’ in Alabama.”
As another FReeper stated earlier, wrong, Dr. King WAS the Tea Party n Alabama.
Yep. The Dixiecrats. They fought to keep segregation, but the blacks today have never been told that. It would destroy the democrat party if the word got out.
History like this, and other damning democrat history, is why the government schools don't teach history anymore. They teach Social studies, i.e., socialism. Imagine if people knew what socialism REALLY was, and who were it's leaders in the past.
Tacks the Rich!!
King was a Republican and was hated by president Johnson who thought of him as a trouble-making ****** preacher. Won’t repeat the actual hateful quote.
That's unconscionable behavior!
Especially after she and other democrats worked so hard to make certain President Bush got elected to his second term.
