We are fine. We were in a govt. building in D.C. They evacuated all of them. Cell phones were jammed. All the traffic lights were out. It took forever to get home. The weird thing was that the day was beautiful!! It mimicked 9/11. Clear ,cool and silvery. I thought it was a bomb going off somewhere in the metro area. Never thought it could be an earthquake!
I thought that for a second or two, but then it went on so long it had to be a quake.
I'm sort of annoyed, I was in an office building and didn't hear any rumble and I couldn't really tell the difference between the P and S wave. I wish I had been standing outside.
