Isabel was the one where the winds pushed the water up to the top of the bay and wouldn’t let it recede for days. Lots of damage from wind and the excessive prolonged high tides.

Isabel was just awful awful awful here in Waldorf (So. Md.)

We were in the basement all night long, with babies in cribs crying at water coming in.

I’m not looking forward to Irene at all!

Thanks. Predictions had looked good for a couple of days, but now it looks like it is coming right to the mouth of the Chesapeake - the Inner Harbor and Fells Point could really get hit, again.
