Take a glimpse into the next perversion the liberals at the BBC are getting us ready to accept: Pedophilia.

Maybe once they get gay "marriage" legalized the left will forget about normalizing poligamy and go immediately for making "intergenerational sex" (as they call it) a universal human right (but don't worry, the libs will only legalize "consensual" sex with minors.)

If the people stood up against it, it wouldn’t happen.

Never seen it, never will, but it makes you want to root for the Daleks.

This year’s Torchwood is showing the collapse of society in a world where no one dies (sounds odd, but makes sense when thought through). The role of the Danes character is one example of how far civilization has collapsed, not an endorsement of what he represents.

The series has not been that good this year, until last week’s episode, which rocked.

And RTD’s characterization of a Sarah Palin-type character was very offensive, and in fact panned by many as that of a Brit getting American culture wrong.

If they want to push pedophilia let them - that is an issue that will unite people across all spectrums to rise up and slap them down. Let them eat lead.

Oswald Danes.

Not Jones.

And, while my wife and I liked the first three seasons of Torchwood, we are finding the fourth season harder to accept because the main character has come out a lot more than previously.

The writers and promoters of Torchwood are purposely working hard to normalize sexual degeneracy. It is no longer even masked.

I have been watching the show ... they are NOT trying to get people on the side of pedophilia ... the premise of the show is as follows.

The “technicality” that got Oswald Jones off was that he was executed, but amazingly people around the world stopped dying that day (no matter what you do to them). Society is in chaos because of this “miracle”, and some very dark characters are promoting Jones as a voice of sanity to the masses because the politicians and clergy are silent on what people should do next. They did have a person (from the Tea Party) that started a campaign of “dead is dead” to have those who should be dead quarantined from society, but Jones’ handlers got rid of her by crushing her in a car (and yes, she is still alive).

Jones is being presented as a very creepy character that can stir the masses with his speech, both pro and con. Even his handler who is creating the media frenzy around him does not want to be near him or alone with him. As she says, she cannot look at his hands because she knows what he did with those hands. The Torchwood team is trying to figure out why people stopped dying and put things back to normal, and Captain Jack Harkness (the character that came over from Doctor Who) has personally volunteered to send Oswald Jones to meet his maker.

Now, all that being said, Captain Jack Harkness is an openly gay character ... so the premise of this season of show is not that we are to accept Pedophilia, but rather that a gay man will save us.

Honestly the Danes character is about the least of the issues with this series. The Palin slam was gratuitous and stupid but typical of the Brit left. The main problem is the constant, unrelenting pro-gay propoganda in this show. The latest episode is actually starting to tie quite a lot together, but the faggotry (literally) turned an otherwise interesting show into something far less pleasant.

The author is either deluded or hasn’t watched the series if he believes that Oswald Danes is a character that anyone is rooting for.

Absolutely right. Liberals need someone to champion. It has evolved from the women's suffrage to labor struggles to civil rights to women's rights (including abortion rights) to homosexuals. Once gay marriage is forced down our throats they will need to find a new cause. It will either be pedophilia or polygamy. BTW, I watched the very first episode of Torchwood, and when the main character kissed another guy, I turned it off, never to turn it on again.

It might be a good show - but it opens doors for elite liberals to start pushing pedophilia. Fighting social taboos makes for exciting TV...

It'll start with liberals saying pedophiles were born that way It's not a choice.

Or if we don't accept the rape of 3 year old, elites will say 'it's just about sex'. Why are we so uptight about sex?

The MSM will chime in with " Once people against blacks being free..." and they were WRONG on that - so they're also wrong on this....

Liberal elites will accept marriage between a pedophile and a six year old. It makes them edgy and cool - and soooo brave for standing up to Tea Party types. Elites will say the Vast Right Wing Conspiracy and the evil Tea Party are against January/November marriages... that's they're sooooooo backward.

Then a liberal judge in San Francisco will try to stop the debate by decreeing the marriage between a 50 year old man and his 6 year old bride legal...

It's gonna be fun.... The last step will be when liberal elites contemptuously call us pedophiphobes... and write laws making it illegal for us to speak against pedophiles - hate crimes against 'hate speech'...

I haven't seen "Torchwood" but I have seen Showtime's "Dexter", in which the protagonist is a handsome, personable young police forensics officer who happens to be a serial killer. And yet, "Dexter" hasn't persuaded anyone that serial killings are normal or acceptable, or tried to do so - it's clear that Dexter is an extremely disturbed man who commits horrific acts and will eventually end up in prison or dead.

From the Wikipedia entry for "Torchwood", it appears that they're doing something similar with their character (played by Bill Pullman) - a man who raped and killed a 12-year old, was sentenced to death and executed, but managed to live due to some world-wide event called the "Miracle" which prevents all death. There's no hint that the character is meant to be seen as a hero or that pedophilia is portrayed as anything other than a despicable crime.

I thought this had to be satire when reading about Bill Pullman’s character. But it doesn’t look like it indeed is, on rereading. I guess they’re following the same gameplan homosexuals used.

I remember the old days when Bill Pullman was getting us ready to accept US presidents flying jets in combat missions against mile wide alien spaceships.

From the July 20 thread :

Discussing what I now call the Gay Softporn Handbook and Propaganda Manual BBC Show...

TW is just too adult for my tastes - too much weird sex stuff.
Maybe you can torrent the UK version.

19 July 2011
It appears that fans of the British version of Torchwood won’t be getting an eye full of Captain Jack Harkness and an unnamed barman despite the fact that it apparently already been broadcast in the US on STARZ. The BBC bosses thought it was too explicit. This, from the network that included a full on nudity scene involving a post-op transsexual in a movie exploring transsexuality.
The Sun reports that a source, which hopefully wasn’t hacked into by reporters working for News Corp, that the executives felt that the scenes were just too sexy to show primetime audiences. The source said “It wasn’t that it was a gay scene that worried people, but just the fact it was such an explicit sex scene, full stop. You can get away with scenes like that on American cable channels, but you can’t on primetime BBC1.
A BBC spokeswoman did confirm that this scene was cut along with another that they deemed to be too explicitly violent. She said “The UK and US versions of ‘Torchwood’ are slightly different. However, these differences do not change the story in any way and the strong storylines are first and foremost to the series.”
John Borrowman did promise show fans that the new series would be the sexiest yet, and it would include “man sex” and “full-on” nudity.

Four years ago I watched the original series, which occasionally has a few seconds of pervert behavious, both male and female, but it was brief enough to ignore, and easy enough to excise, Since it added absolutely nothing to advance the plot.

I planned to transfer the episodes to DVDs to watch again, and it would have been easy enough to edit those scenes out.

This "American" version of Torchwood is another animal altogether.
When they first snuck in more than a few seconds of the perverts, I felt uneasy.

On the last episode (Aug 19, I think,) they went way over the line with prolonged scenes of homosexual activity, at which time my wife walked out of the room, and I immediately went to the hard drive with all the episodes of both the Brit and American versions of this militant pervert advocacy crap disguised as "entertainment," and erased them entirely. I do not wish to give even the impression of "tolerance."

I assume that their audience will be reduced to teenagers and the tiny percentage of male and female perverts in the United States and their friends and families.

Good luck to them.

I just regret that the executives at Starz didn't have the good sense to follow the example of their BBC counterparts.

I'd rather watch Cash Cab.
