Good point. The GOP has to get much more serious about combating voter fraud in all its various forms.
On his radio show last week, Rush Limbaugh, in response to a caller's question about fraud, skirted the issue by saying that if Republicans can win by a hefty margin, no amount of 'Rat fraud could change the outcome. I would agree that there are practical limits on what fraud can accomplish numerically, so Rush is correct to that extent.
But why should some closer races be allowed to be stolen by their various forms of cheating? I'm afraid that too many in the GOP want to avoid a confrontation on this, fearing that they might be tarred as "racists" by the Dem cheaters.
I don’t think it will be so easy for dems to get away with fraud this election. They aren’t just dealing with the yellowbacked pubbies anymore. They have to deal with the unknown quantity that comprises the TEA Party. They don’t know who we are, how many we are, or what we might be capable of. It is my hope that they fear us and go through this election looking over their shoulders and wishing they had eyes in the backs of their heads.
Let’s not forget what they tried to do in Florida in 2000. They were banking on voter fraud in the close races in key electoral states, and had the Cuban community not been up in arms that year, the dead vote would have carried Florida, and nobody would have noticed. Thank you, Elian and the Gonzalez family. You saved America.
