He is attempting to make her look like the girl who cried wolf.

Karl supports Romney and a vote for Romney is a vote for Obama.

Therefore, Karl supports Obama and has sold his soul. maybe there is a reason his first name is spelled just like Marx’.

Funny how we all loved him when he engineered two Republic wins in 2000 and 2004.

We would have had Gore and/or Kerry as president otherwise..

Reading her response yesterday...and in particular, acknowledging CNN’s coverage, I believe she will NOT announce on September 3rd. Not to say that I don’t think she isn’t running, I just don’t believe it will be that day.

I do think she will announce later in the month.

Why would anyone ever believe Karl Rove? He was the architect of the destruction of the Republican Party. If you doubt it, go back and read what he said in 2000, 2001, 2002. Read the sadly laughable claims that if the GOP got rid of fiscal conservatism and focused on social wedge issues, it would build a “permanent Republican majority.” Read all of his references to how McKinley and Hanna created a Republican majority and his dreams of doing the same. Read what he said about how he could swing West Virginia to the GOP by promoting protectionist policies in 2002. Read about how he justified strong-arming small government Republicans into supporting Free Drugs for Seniors and No Child Left Behind in the beginning of Bush’s term. Rove did only one thing right—he found a way to get George Bush re-elected in the face of unrelenting media hatred. Apart from that, he was a disaster. The architect of Compassionate Conservatism as a political tool. He and his creature need to go away.

Doubtful.

His turncoat sleaze on Christine O’Donnell was disgraceful.

Have no use for the guy. None.

First I heard of Rove supporting protectionism.

He’s a globalist, open borders RINO.

They don’t do protectionism.

Tokyo Rove is a Republican elite, establishment guy. It’s time to say “Up the establishment!”. No more Tokyo Rove.

He helped W get elected the first time. The second election for W...it was W who was the genius behind his re-election not Rove.

One thing everyone must know about Rove, is that he is now and has always been the brains and the mouthpiece of the Bush Dynasty. Their goal is to get Jeb Bush in the Whitehouse. They assumed that Obama would cruise to an easy reelection in 2012, so they planned to set Jeb up for 2016. However, a monkey wrench has been thrown into their plans, it looks like Obama might actually be beatable in 2012. So now they have a decision to make, either try to get Jeb Bush into an already crowded field, or to sabotage the eventual Republican candidate so they can get Obama reelected and go on with the original plan. I think they plan on doing the second...

Funny how I never did “love” him. And while he helped prevent Gore and Kerry from being president he also prevented many excellent conservative Republicans from being President too.

Rove is a confidence man, hired to con you into voting for whichever employer has the money and pull to warrant his interest. I don’t care for political cheerleaders of any stripe, after all, these people are public servants seeking employment in office by the people who vote them into office. If Rove has some beef with Palin, it’s probably because he has no influence over Her, and see’s no benefit from getting behind Her campaign, which is fine by me because She doesn’t need or want his type of ilk in Her campaign. As far as when Sarah announces that She’s going to run, She’ll do it on Her own terms, and not what the opposition wants.

Mrs. Palin is remaining quiet....she is waiting....she (and only she) knows her battle plan....she (and only she) knows her timing.....she is learning....studying the opposition....guarding the "cubs"....waiting quietly with an occasional "roar"....reconnoitering the challengers from within and the enemies from without.....studying weaknesses....building and conserving her own strength....endlessly practicing....reading...honing her skills.....waiting.....waiting…

This war has not yet begun. What has been seen of the other candidates to date has been nothing but minor and irrelevant skirmishing. Candidates in...candidates out....candidates winning....candidates losing.....candidates saying silly things.....candidates saying cogent, insightful things.....candidates being personally attacked by the msm (including fox) and the faux intelligencia (rove, krauthammer, morris, olberman, matthews, etc)....candidates being dismissed or ignored by the msm....candidates attacking one another instead of concentrating on the real issues and enemy.

It is a very, very long way yet to November, 2012. There is no need to rush. Keeping her own council, Mrs. Palin smiles knowingly, and trusting in the loyalty of her supporters, remembers the words of Napolean, "Never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake." and General Patton, "Our basic plan of operation is to advance and to keep on advancing regardless of whether we have to go over, under, or through the enemy. We are going to go through him like crap through a goose; like shit through a tin horn!"

When she arrives, you can count on total war. She has learned how to fight. She has been through this before.....all the way to election day. She does not spin; she attacks, all the time....constantly; she does not back away from principles; she means exactly what she says...and says exactly what she means. She has built and continues to add to her base of support because of who and what she is....not because of who or what she panders to.

Patience.....patience....

Wait for it!

And keep the faith....

Having been a member of this site and part of the DC chapter for more than a decade,
I never really understood the fascination/adulation of some here with K.Rove.

Sarah's inate political sense on a bad day beats Rove's schtick on his best.

Reason being that hers is based on the kind of real life experience that most of US rely on, along with a true love of what's best for the Nation.

Rove, on the other hand, seems to be first and foremost about Rove, and if that helps further the national interest, it's likely a mere coincidence.

Bearing in mind the primary cutoff dates, I wouldn't mind seeing Sarah wait until the last possible day to announce.

Let the current field whittle itself on down, and cause as much stress-related physical damage to the marxist apparatchiks as possible.

Seriously.

Rove would love for Palin to get in and split the conservative vote even more.

Rove supports Romney and Sarah would pull no votes from Romney.
