Do You Trust the News Media?

A new survey from the Pew Research Center shows that only 29% of Americans feel the media “generally gets the facts straight.” This is down from 55% in 1985. The new survey also found that 60% of Americans think news organizations are politically biased.

This is from 2009. I imagine it is even lower now.

29% actually think the media generally gets the facts straight??? That's almost a third of the population! Now that's really scary!

Do you mean to tell me that 30% of Americans actually think news organizations are NOT politically biased????? That's even scarier! 30% of the population are utter morons????? And they're running around loose!

No wonder the country is in such a mess!

I certainly hope so! But let's not fall into the trap of mindless optimism. 29-30% of the American population is operating at a functioning IQ of about 75 or less--and they are piloting the ship of state! This is cause for ABSOLUTE PANIC!
