Yes, although a one-liner in an article about one candidate dismissing claims she is announcing september 3rd suggesting people support an announced candidate, while obviously annoying to supporters, doesn't seem to be as annoying as off-topic attacks on the candidate. Would it have been less disruptive if the 2nd post to this thread have been a 20-sentence attack on Sarah Palin for not making a decision, and attacking her opinions and position on everything from immigration to islam? I would think not -- this was a thread about patience, and about Palin telling people (including her supporters) to stop claiming they KNEW she was running because they had inside knowledge -- Not a thread to bash Palin, or try to recruit to other candidates.

The Caucus rules work very well to allow people of similar mind to discuss their own beliefs and misgivings and fears openly without fear of being attacked or belittled or being dragged off-topic. I think it would be very helpful to supporters of candidates to have threads where they could do the same; clearly many here are upset about having pro-perry folks come in and disrupt their discussion of Palin's plans, so what would the harm be of setting up a CAUCUS for threads like this so people would clearly know what threads to avoid with their other comments?

That’s a whole lotta words to say a whole lotta nothing, Charles. Dead horses don’t run. They’re dead. Stop beating them.

What "one-liner"? What I was referring to was a paragraph.

We disagree. Imho, the system established by the owner of this site is working just fine.
