No way this Palin supporter will rally around Perry. No way in hell for him or any other RINO.
I was very active in the Dem process in 1968. Things were changing, in unpredictable ways, constantly. And the ball didn't even start rolling until November, 1967.
I have been a very vocal advocate here for Palin. In some important ways, she is the only one who can both do what needs doing, and has a chance to win.
But, unlike a lot of her supporters, I am becoming more and more uncertain about what she will choose to do.
I've had a lot of exchanges with CW, objecting to her guy because I think he is a globalist. I've been surprised at the number of FReepers who still believe in globalism as a good thing (who believe it can be limited or contained without destroying the Constitution).
That having been said, we don't NEED a candidate now. We NEED a winner on August 29, 2012, IOW, 371 days from now.
We need, in the meantime, to try to block a RINO dominating the process (Romney and Huntsman, plus late-entry jokes like Pataki) and keep Sarah in the game if she's not ready to announce.
I strongly believe the dynamics of 2012 will favor a late entry - the later, the better - because the MSM will grind to dust any frontrunner who emerges before, say, May 2012.
It is even possible, like 1968, that the correlation of forces will not be known before late June or early July.
In any event, I think CW is doing a good, fair job for her guy, I'm not buying it so far, and we have a long way to go. I hope she sticks around.

AMEN. McCain Redux. Never Again. Better to let USA go down (which will happen with either O or Perry or any other NON-Constitutionalist), and focus on rebuilding/restoration.
