Biden Receives Mongolian Horse, Names It 'Celtic'

"The horse is the most important animal in Mongolia,” an aide traveling with Biden told reporters. “It is the lifeblood of the country (nomadic history), so giving a horse is one of the most meaningful gifts that can be given."
Biden said that he named the horse “Celtic.” But the horse apparently did not respond in kind. When asked later to explain what happened, Biden said the animal "reared up" on him and concluded that it must not have liked "the Irish epitaph."

"Celtic"? WTF? Oh yeah, if I ever went to Mongolia and was presented a horse, that's what I'd name it - "Celtic."
I really, really hope this jackass is running some watch-the-idiot distraction campaign for something else that's going on. Because taking Biden at face value is literally impossible. Or it should be.

Only Joe Biden would an Irish name to a Mongolian horse. Especially one that was a gift. Even the horse knew it was wrong. Wonder if “celtic” is a dirty word in Mongolian?

As a horseowner, it is my observation that some horses do not care for smaller ponies and donkeys. Maybe this horse just recognized an ass, and responded instinctively...
