Yes, I'd read that. I do not doubt it's accuracy but consider her assessment on the harsh side.
Some times the truth hurts, but a good FRiend stills share it with his FRiends.
I’ve said this before I love Texans. I even love it when they brag about Texas, especially when they have that twinkle in their eyes that tells you they don’t really believe what they are saying either, but man can they get annoying when they start believing their own BS! Texas has produce exactly one truly good President and that was Sam Houston and he was only President of the Republic of Texas not of the Union. And look at what Texans did to him for refusing to join the Confederacy.
Well, she’s in the mold of the pissed off conservative woman of today.
I’ll cut her some slack!
You replied No.
Apparently you have not been keeping up with current events. Big Goverment knows better than YOU do. You WILL do as they say, or they will arrest you, and they will force the treatment on your children.
Forced Cancer treatment for son
Judge rules family can't refuse chemo for boy
Judge: Parents can't refuse chemo for son on religious grounds
Gee, I sure hope you are right this time .... < /s>
My good friend, emotion against the scourge of cancer and when so easily prevented through a vaccine, was acting in tandem with the too-quick decision to mandate such a vaccination program.
They were both in play. A false choice to say it was either one or the other.
There isn’t anything remotely threatening there. Your fear is misplaced. This is a man who has been a legislator, who has been a Lt. Gov. who works in tandem with the legislature, and a Gov. who in the end had to bow to the will of the people.
It is Obama who will not bow to the will of the people. It is Obama who is a would be dictator a la Chavez in Venezuela.
Perry is stubborn. The old saying, “be sure you’re right, then go ahead” is what Perry is like.
He didn’t spend enough careful thought about how Texans would take this, but instead moved to the “solution” phase too thoughtlessly.
There is no denying - none - that had that program through the schools been carried out, it would have been the most effective way to prevent cervical cancer. Nothing else is even a distant second place compared to the effectiveness. That’s clearly what he aimed for.
But it was not worth it if the people of Texas did not want it, and they did not.
He obviously thought they would want it. I ask you, common sensewise, if he had known that the people would bombard the legislature against it, would he have still done it? Of course not, of course not, wake up.
No dictator, he. Just look what Obama does. There’s your dictator. Takes delight in ignoring the people’s will. Literally takes delight in it. Sick.
Nobody else but yourself can stop the false, useless fear of Rick Perry that your brain harbors. I advise you to dump it, it’s a no-brainer that Rick Perry is no threat as a would-be dictator.
But if you want to cling to that, so be it.
