What has always concerned me is that if access to these images are removed completely, what will these men do to give outlet to these feelings? So, are these images pressure releases or encouragement?
Our culture has been so degraded, its impossible to avoid being touched by daily perversions and I feel so sorry for good men who have to fight this particular monster in their souls.
Your comment causes me to mention something interesting about Rob. He stopped using hotmail in favor of gmail for one interesting reason. Gmail is text. When he goes to his email he does not have to be baited with photos of, as he puts it, “scantily clad women” every time he checks his email.
You are so right that our culture has been degraded. We stopped watching tv a long time ago and are stunned by what is now considered a-ok for general consumption. The amount of “girl on girl” photos in all aspects of advertising is also appalling.
It is one of the things that motivated our move to farmland area. There is a lot less exposure to popular culture out here. We can get back to living a normal life.
Yer asking a serious question, so YOU are about to get a serious answer.
As you can well imagine, I have some passing experience with porn. Oh, I know -- SHOCKING. But I do.
My experience isn't that porn gives an outlet. My experience is that porn FEEDS desires. My experience is, the more I porned about a particular act, the more I wanted it. And, after time, when one act doesn't do it for you, you get a little kinkier, and a little kinkier after that, until all you care to do is lick the underside of every tulip bulb in a given woman's garden.
No, that wasn't a euphamism. I mean, literally lick the underside of every real tulip bulb in a genuine garden.
