RobRoy, I think it is *you* who missed the point. Consider: when Eve bit the apple, did the sin occur with the act or with the thought that preceded the act?
I argue, sir, that the sin occurred first with the thought. Pedophiles do what they do, because they THINK they can get away with it—in spite of society’s attempts to provide severe deterrents.
Man, flawed as he is, does his best nonetheless to institute laws and taboos intended to reflect the morals given in scripture by his Creator.
While I admit this could easily be twisted to appear to support some sort of Orwellian 1984 thoughtcrime schema, I ask you to consider the differences of intent: on one hand, to prevent sexual deviancy, whereas on the other, to control and manipulate masses for ungodly purposes.
