They said the same thing about McCain in 2007.
They said the same thing about Reagan in the 70s.
Cain is no McCain (thank God!)
He’s infinitely better in ALL ways than McCain,
a rusty dinosaur/RINO if there ever was one.
Cain is ALSO no Ronald Reagan.
He’s infinitely less sure of himself than Reagan,
with zero years of practical experience in knowing
how to handle himself in debates or present himself to
an ever-widening public, which is going to include an MSM
with teeth newly-sharpened just for this candidate,Herman Cain.
Expect a replay of the Clarence Thomas nomination process—Listen to Reagan’s
speeches from FIFTEEN years before he ran from President
and you’ll see what I mean.
I mentioned a lot of negatives and positives, which
are virtually interchangeable in Cain, and you paid no
attention to those “finer points” which should figure into
anyone’s realistic appraisal of a candidate.
To me, he simply comes across as too unsure of himself to wade into the waters that he’ll encounter as this process
continues.
IF he gets the nomination, would I vote for him?
OF COURSE I WOULD!
IF he gets the nomination, would he beat Obama or any
Obama challenger who might be the Democrat candidate?
He very likely WOULD.
Like I said, I like him.
Still don’t think he’ll get the nomination, though.
And everything I might do, or you might do, or a halfmillion
other people might do , working 24 hours a day, 7 days a week will not change that.
