Having a job is not what makes me feel respectable. Respect comes from creating a value to my employer that is greater than my compensation.
And the two are mutually exclusive how?
Also remember pride goeth before a fall. You are lucky to still have a job, don’t be nasty to those who are struggling. That is one of the canards of this board....people act like it is the unemployed’s own fault they are unemployed and it ain’t so. The unemployed are struggling and want to be employed, but the administration has created an antibusiness environment so companies aren’t hiring. Minimum wage has made it too expensive to hire even when you need people, unions have made it impossible to think about new manufacturing or mining concerns.
