Update: Thank you all so much for your generous contributions to the Early States Fund. The response has been humbling, as we know in these economic times that every gift is a sacrifice. Your commitment to furthering the values and leadership of Gov. Palin for our country is unmatched by any current candidates supporters. From florists to stock analysts, retirees to students, Americans from all walks of life have jumped on board to say, Count me in!
I wanted to let you also know that the donation challenge made by the anonymous C4Per of $1,000 has been met! You all made him pay up big time! Thank you!
But the fun hasnt ended yet.
Today I received a message from another Gov. Palin supporter, this one hailing from NC. She wrote to make an identical challenge. Lets meet it head on. For every $100 donation, she will match it up to $1000. This supporter and so many more of you have proven that whatever state youre in, we can all help in those crucial early state primaries.
And as said before, any amount is much appreciated. In the O4P grassroots community, every dollar goes a long way.
Thank you again for your support. None of what we do at O4P is possible without you.

P.S. Weve had some good laughs over the captions you all wrote for Gov. Perry below bless his heart.
P.P.S. Some of you have requested a mailing address for donations:

Dear
Friends,
We are profoundly grateful for the commitment, hard work, and insight of the C4P and O4P community who are working across the nation to support the values and leadership of Gov. Palin. This is truly a team effort, as we work alongside each other, pounding with boots on the ground and fingers on the keyboard. We are fortunate to serve with you and to know you.
Recently, weve received requests asking how to help in the most time critical efforts. We believe its crucial now to get behind O4Ps early state efforts en masse! O4P has chapters in Iowa, New Hampshire, South Carolina, Nevada, and Florida. The path to the nomination will go through these states.
We have a number of ideas as to how the community can get behind these efforts, some of which are underway even now quietly. Most of these dont cost any money at all, as we are an army of volunteers. However, other efforts do cost: advertising to reach other Palin supporters, providing literature on Gov. Palins accomplishments to potential voters, and reserving spaces at fairs and events to share information are just a few.
One vitally important way we can together support the early states effort is by donating to Organize4Palins Early States Fund. Reaching those early primary states and then spreading that success across the nation will provide Gov. Palin with an organized and strong network of volunteers should she decide to run, as we believe she will.
We have received a generous donation by a long time C4P-er who wishes to remain anonymous. Our C4P friend was inspired by Charters Challenge on July 10 to challenge us once again. For every $100 donated to the Early States Fund, this C4P-er will match that donation, up to a total of $1,000, for donations made through Sunday, August 21.
If you have the ability to do so in these challenging financial times, we urge you to give generously to the Early States Fund! Either way, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all that you are doing for this great country and in support of a great leader, Governor Sarah Palin. Again, its an honor and a privilege to serve with you in this great cause!

anyone want to take a crack at what Gov. Rick Perry must have been thinking when he saw these volunteer placed O4P palm cards? Your help in the early states will place more of these cards in the hands of potential primary voters. Please help now!

Sarah needs to state in simple terms her position on illegal immigration. Her lack of a forthcoming statement leaves me wondering just WHAT her position really happens to be. She is rated a D+, while Perry has a D- rating, meanwhile Bachmann is rated a B+........
How DARE you! Whatever the position, it's perfect. That is all you need to know.
do I really need the /s?

There are serious difficulties with that “rating” system by numbersUSA.
1) They are judging Sarah based on comments she made while under the yolk of Amnesty McCain. She did her level best to be ambiguous and refer to what a President Amnesty McCain would do, but she is being tarred by that.
2) There is no basis for the ratings. NumbersUSA provides what the breakdowns topic breakdowns are, but not what makes a D a minus instead of a plus. IIRC, they do not tie to specific positions, they are subjective.
3) Their positions are way beyond where 90% of even conservatives would go. Their focus is not limited to protecting the border, deporting illegals, denying illegals benefits, and enforcing the law. I don’t recall the specifics now, but I doubt even Tom Tancredo would get better than a B on their scale. They openly admit their scale is rigid and harsh.
That was the other thing that bothered me. There is less difference between Bachmann and Palin on their chart (using their criteria) than there is between Perry and Palin, and yet Palin is listed much closer to Perry.
Look it up, their system is not a valid barometer. I do agree though, she needs to come out forcefully against illegal immigration and this backdoor amnesty.
(((((PING)))))
No, you didn’t really need the /s tag, but the nice thing is I am no longer being flamed for asking this question...
My fear is she is a NWO follower...
If Sarah is NWO, there are no real Americans left. That includes you and me!
From Palin haters:
Dec 3, 2009
LARS: The amnesty proposal that was defeated in Congress in your view, was that amnesty for illegals and would you back amnesty for a path to citizenship, as the current president calls it?
SARAH PALIN: No, Im not for amnesty. Lets ratchet this down quite simply to remember what were referring to. Illegal aliens are called illegal for a reason. We need to secure our borders and I am not for amnesty. And there are humane ways to deal with the 11-13 million illegal aliens who are in our country right now, but if theyre not going to follow the rules, they need to get out.

Sarah Palin Tells Bill OReilly What She Would Do About Immigration As President Palin
July 14, 2010
Last Friday, Fox News Bill OReilly asked former Gov. Sarah Palin; (R-AK) what she would do about immigration if she ever became President Palin. Palin informed OReilly that she would do whatever it takes to secure the border, including militarizing the border with 10,000-15,000 National Guard troops and building a wall.
However, Palin seemed less confident about what to do about the millions of undocumented immigrants already living in the U.S. She proposed requiring undocumented immigrations to register with the federal government in order to legally work in the United States a step that would actually be part of comprehensive immigration reform:
OREILLY: Now we have 12 million people staring at you. Are you going to deport them, what are you going to do?
PALIN: Youre not gonna give them a free pass. Youre not gonna say, okay you and anyone else who wants scurry across this porous border between now and when we do
finally get it fenced in and physically secured were gonna give you a free pass.
OREILLY: So no amnesty?
PALIN: No amnesty! Do we make them register with the federal government? Yes!
Lets keep it simple and lets say no, if you were here illegally and if you dont follow the steps that at some point through immigration reform were gonna be able to provide and that is somehow to allow you to work if you dont do that, then youre gonna be gone.

NumbersUSA Fail in evaluating Sarah Palin
(Video of full interview at link)
Whoever did the evaluation on Sarah Palin got it wrong at NumbersUSA. I compared their conclusions with what was said in the Gov. Palin interview with Bill OReilly, 12 July 2010.
NumbersUSA: Despite saying she opposes amnesty, Gov. Palin has very publicly described her preference for giving legal status to masses of illegal aliens.
>There are no references to back up what NumbersUSA say Palin said. Where exactly has Palin made such a statement?
NumbersUSA: Gov. Palin has said she opposes amnesty and there should be no free passes for illegal aliens. However, she seems to define amnesty like most supporters
of legalization of illegal aliens.
>Here NumbersUSA refuse Palins words no free passes and insert what they want to portray her as seeming to be like other amnesty supporters.
NumbersUSA: Palin has outlined a pathway to legalization where illegal aliens have 60 days to register with the government (those that fail to register should be deported).
Palin does not have a clear idea of what to do once illegal aliens have registered, but if illegal aliens do not follow the path to legalization, they should be deported.
>The above statement is false. At 1:35 OReilly makes an hypothetical statement, Do you tell them they have 60 days to get outta here? Palin did not make an outline of 60 days.
NumbersUSA: Gov. Palin has made it clear that the United States needs a steady flow of immigrants in order for our economy to function.
>I dont see how Numbers can make this statement. I cant find Palin saying anything about supporting a steady flow of immigrants anywhere in the interview.
After reading Numbers USA evaluation, I cant find NumbersUSA to be a credible source.
Until these errors are corrected, NumbersUSA grades an F.
The antiPalins on FR feed on blatant lies and regurgitate them equally regardless of R or D.
I’m waiting for the first antiSP freeper to announce they’ve played her speeches backward and discovered satanic messages...perhaps along with recipes for deviled caribou...snerk ;)
LOL. It's coming the PDS is stong.
Plain needs to make a concise and clear statement that leaves no doubt that where she stands....
How much clearer can you get than *anything it takes to close the border* and *NO amnesty?* Is that too ambiguous for you?
