Days after a jihadist had made violent threats against him, late-night comedian David Letterman tightened security at the Manhattan theater where he tapes his “Late Show.”
A source told the New York Post Friday that additional security precautions were taken at the Ed Sullivan Theater after a Muslim extremist called for Letterman's tongue to be cut out on Shumuka al-Islam forum, a popular Internet destination for radical Muslims.
"Is there not among you a Sayyid Nosair al-Mairi ... to cut the tongue of this lowly Jew and shut it forever?" a user identified as Umar Al-Basrawi wrote, referring to El Sayyid Nosair, who was convicted of the 1990 killing of Jewish Defense League founder Meir Kahane. Letterman is not Jewish.

I think Letterman is without a doubt one of the biggest jerks in the world and never watch him.
That being said..it annoys me that a bunch of..would issue a fatwa on him. In this country, we can say what we want. Agree or not agree.

Letterman deserves it.. he needs to feel his snark..
He has been running his mouth off for way too long..
If “something” strange happened to him.. its well deserved..
His barbs are many times outrageous.. deserving outrage..

Anyway, the guy sexually harassed most of his staff and is an meglomaniac liberal a$$. But his attorneys (and some of his Obama stash) took care of that.
He had been the biggest proponent of using his 1/3 inch soap box to bash conservatives and Christians since the 1980’s, as well as an appoligist for people who deny that all of the domestic terrorist since 9/11 have been related to the ‘religion of peace’.
F-him. I want him to jump on the liberal bandwagon and proclaim, on air, that he will donate all of his income for redistribution, since he is very, very rich.
