The opt out was a joke. I'd bet you wouldn't let Publisher's Clearing House send you magazines until you 'opt out' but it's okay for Perry to try and force vaccinations on young girls unless they do? Whatever happened to letting parents decide what's best for their children? Since when did it become okay for a state government to be the prime decision maker with the parents becoming second.

They should, that is why there was an opt out. Still, I agree that the gardisil mandate was a big mistake, even with the opt out. Perry agrees. I thought Reagan's amnesty was a big mistake too, and so did he.

What a crock of krap lie...my daughter opted out in 2003. Picked up the form at school, signed it and blam! Done deal! She gets to determine what needles get stuck in her kids. When the Gardasil krap came up, Perry’s owwn staff at a public meeting at her school said since she opted out in 2003 she didn’t even have sign another form.
