Cannot locate on either googlemap or bingmap. Can you name a town nearby?

I saw video of them demolishing it back in Feb., Mar., and April. Why is it news now? What’s going on?

Oh, ok, now I see. If you google “illegal settlement Ramat Migron”, you’ll get more background. Apparently the Israel Supreme Court ruled it had to go on Aug. 2nd.

It’s a few miles northeast Jerusalem, kinda between Modi’in Illit and Ma’aleh Adumim.

A few miles? Does Israel have the will to survive anymore?

You could have supplied more details to expand this post. It’s kind of lackluster. No one cares, because no ones knows the background. It doesn’t rate breaking news without additional information. We can’t comment, because, we don’t know. Got Milk?

Now that I know where it is, I think I know some of the backstory.

Jews who do not want to surrender any of Judea and Samaria back to the Arabs in a future treaty strategically planted "settlements" in places that would make it hard to carve out a workable palestinian entity.

The Israeli government has always opposed those settlements, as they constrict Jerusalem's bargaining latitude.

There's a lot going on there:

Migron Settler Outpost To Be Evacuated Immediately: Israel Supreme Court

West Bank settlers suspected of attacking Palestinian child

4 structures evicted at Ramat Migron outpost

3 Ramat Migron settlers detained for W. Bank confrontation

That was more for any freeper who was hopefully in the area, who would naturally know all about it. All A7 gave me was that one-liner, but anyone in the area who had a camera could have made it into a story unavailable elsewhere.
