Pulling my vessel on Tuesday. This storm track has me nervous. Added to that, the St. Lucie Lock is only opening at 9:00AM and again at 4:00PM. It should be a “goat rodeo” come Thursday, getting in and thru the locks. They shut things down when the wind reaches 35 knots.

Sounds like a good plan. Still gives a couple of days to track the storm, allowing another couple of days to beat the crowd.

I trailer mine now. Going down to the dock in the middle of the night to do storm checks got old. Docks are tricky in storms. Too many variables for the boat to be damaged. I used to put mine out at mooring, with extra scope if I couldn’t pull it.
