Correct. The little secret is very few American military are front line battle troops. The logistics necessary to project our forces world wide are enormous...So what? Most white bread kids today are brainwashed into thinking military = Marines, which is why so few volunteer. I'll say again, any foreigner, after proper vetting, should be given citizenship for service in the US military. This is not a new idea.

Yep, do it the way the French Foreign Legionaires do it, they select who they need and want in order to accomplish combat missions. Unfortunately, nowadays Congress and some bureaucrat decides who they want as a friend in the military these days, not whether they can accomplish the mission or not.
I’ll say it again. Never allow illegals into the military and never reward illegals for anything.
