The regulation existed. The nobama idiots were forced to take it back 3 days ago, or so now they say “3 days ago”.

In effect or not in effect, Perry was right for bringing it up. Who knows it could just as easily go back into effect next Wednesday.

Correct.

The Colorado Farm Bureau has been telling its members to submit their concerns to the Department of Transportation about changes and commercial driving license provisions.

The American Farm Bureau Federation is pleased the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration listened to farmer and rancher concerns regarding changes to agricultural transportation regulations and commercial drivers license provisions.

As a result of comments received from AFBF and others, Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood said today that the FMCSA has no intention to propose new regulations governing the transport of agricultural products, and that the agency has released guidance to states so they clearly understand common-sense exemptions “to allow farmers, their employees, and their families to accomplish their day-to-day work and transport their products to market.”

Colorado Farm Bureau submitted official comments to DOT opposing the new regulations.

End of excerpt

Rick Perry was right-on with what was going on in the Department of Transportation.
