The Democrats rely on a number of factors for their success:

(1) The short attention span and poor memory of the populace.

(2) Public school education, which ensures the voters have little knowledge of history, civics and economics.

(3) A complicit mainstream media which works tirelessly to distort reality and frame issues to favor the liberals (while suppressing conservative views).

(4) The growing selfishness of those who rely on government for their existence.

Blutarski, you’ve encapsulated a non-violent Marxist revolution into a neat little pill for the FedGuv to hand out to the populace.

Those of us who “cheek” the pill and spit it out later are the only ones wise enough to see the canard they’re trying to pull.

Sadly, I fear that when revolution does come, we will be outnumbered by addled masses. I pray that our marksmanship is better than theirs.

The Democrats rely on a number of factors for their success:

Plus Obama is channeling the ghost of Harry Truman in his campaign of 1948 in running against a "Do Nothing" Congress. The problem is, as so many others have pointed out, that Obama had a complete legislative control over his first 2 years, and still has it over the US Senate now and for the next 16 months! Personally, I think that this is desperation and I love the smell of "Obama Flop Sweat" in the morning.
