There may be strong sentiment for this among a high number of Americans but not among the majority of Americans. WE lost. Deportation is not going to happen

Don't be so quick to spread cynicism and despair. Cynicism about major 'Rats like Obozo, Durbin the Turban, and Joe Biteme is well-placed, but not about people like Michele and Sarah.

Notice that Arizona achieved, in relatively short order, a reversal of the human tide into their State by passing salutary laws and signaling a new reluctance to assume the supine position favored by former governor Janet Napolitano, who is now a Major Offender and Codefendant in the Obama Administration.

Vote for the right Republican, you get the right policies. Seeing those differences is now seasonable, since it's primary time. Time to start seeking the right candidate.

And it isn't Rick Perry, by the way. He is part of the Open Borders Lobby.

Michelle Bachmann can not win the presidency
Come back to this post on Nov 8 2012 and we'll see

Sarah Palin - if she runs- will NOT do deportations.
Read what she says

She carefully alludes to registering workers who are here, not deporting them. Once she declares, and this is clarified over and over and over again by the MEdia, more heads will explode. The same people slamming Perry will slam Sarah. Maybe they will stay home in Nov 2012 and let the rest of us decide.

So all the huffing and puffing on FR about deporting illegals - is wasted oxygen. here IS no “right” republican, if you want mass deportation of illegals. NONE (with a credible chance of election)are behind that.

The idea of registering illegal workers who are here AND securing the border to stop the invasion of more AND cutting back on benefits and entitlements to illegals AND tackling Mexico's failures as a nation as a “comprehensive” immigration reform package, is not cynical nor does it cause me despair.

The choice is NOT between “Open borders” ***or*** deportation. The choice is who is going to lead the US into developing a system of foreign worker registration and a realistic path to US citizenship.

It is the realistic approach given the social makeup and sentiment of the majority of the USA, and a sane adult president will eventually lead us that way.

But when you find a perfect candidate who committs to mass deportations and who leads in the public opinion polls- let us know.
