But last week at the Iowa State Fair, she was asked by a local reporter if she would have an announcement by the next time (Sept. 3) we (Iowans)see her. She said no, that a couple of weeks was not enough time to come to her decision.

I read where she told a reporter (I believe it may have been Peter Hamby of CNN) that she would not be a candidate when she came to Iowa. That doesn't mean she won't become one there, although I have no idea what she's actually going to say on Sept. 3. I know she wants to be the last one in.

I'm ready whenever she is, I know that much.

I’m becoming more than convince that she will announce on Sept 3. The reports of her allegy going back to Alaska the next day to do some more Caribou hunting sounds canned. When you’re going to have possibly upwards of 20,000 people plus most likely news media from around the world there and it’s on the 3rd anniversary of her convention speech, it’s highly unlikely she will just draw back from that unless she says something that will clearly let people know that she’s in it to win it! I expect something to be said a few days before at the Alaska State Fair in AK

Young Mr. Conroy seems to know a lot. He's clearly gained some confidence from the Palin camp. Shows what honest reporting can accomplish. I think I'll monitor those Alaska radio jocks Sept. 2...LOL

I believe she will announce on the 3rd, and arrange for Bob and Mark to have a special show later in the day, if necessary, so she can call in right before she takes to the podium.
