I don’t know a certain, definitive answer to it.

Those who trace the origins to the powerful money holding elites of Rome may be more right than wrong.

Certainly the money holding royalty etc. of Europe and the USA . . . some would say particularly Britain . . . have played and do play very key roles in such power groups and structures.

I do NOT think that the American system has per se become responsible for the tyrannical Marxist global government

in terms of

design etc.

Indirectly, in terms of empowering the wealthy to become even more wealthy and spread that wealth more easily into a multiplicity of power grabs with very attached puppet strings all around the world . . . the American system has likely made that easier.

However, Scripture is clear . . . satan has been working on the final play with all its acts and scenes for millenia. It is his swan song for a long time. And he wants it to be as destructive and tyrannical as possible. He would have achieved such goals to the limits God set for him—regardless of whether America existed or not.

The great success of the American system in terms of making

THINGS the idols of the masses

has probably swelled his head and thrilled his evil no end.

NEVERTHELESS, GOD HAS USED the American system in behalf of Israel and THE GOSPEL extremely powerfully.

In the end, that side of the balance sheet will show the weightier influence and satan’s horrors will be dust-motes in the eyes of history.

SOMETIMES, Conservative Americans need to remind themselves . . .

The American Republic and way of life is NOT God.

GOD ALONE IS GOD. AND HE IS A JEALOUS GOD. HE WILL HAVE *NO* OTHER GODS BEFORE HIM.

TRUE PATRIOTISM IS PUTTING GOD FIRST.

GOD ALONE CAN PRESERVE US AS INDIVIDUALS AND AS A NATION.

And at this point, it looks like God has a LOT of housecleaning to do in our beloved land before we can begin to be fit for THE MASTER—OUR LORD JESUS, THE CHRIST.

I would suggest we take a Biblical approach to the question. It’s not necessarily an American or European influence as much as it is a spiritual influence. Let’s not confuse ourselves about what’s going on.

Satan is influencing the “powers that be” to move in the direction of total world control in an effort to totally eliminate Israel and stop God’s plan to destroy him. God, on the other hand, has told us through the prophets what is going to ultimately happen and His plans will not be thwarted.

I seems to me that it’s non productive to determine who, on which continent or which sphere of earthly life is to “blame” or given credit as the case may be. Rather, it’s better to understand what the prophets said would happen and what our options are.

I believe that the prophetic timetable is set and nothing we do is going to change that. Our mandate is to warn others and spread the truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. God draws those who He determines but uses us to introduce. Once the “full number of the Gentiles” is come in things will get very exciting! Come quickly Lord Jesus!
